Mrs. Vanessa Stanley is a native of Long Island, New York. She surrendered her life to the Lord Jesus in Brooklyn, NY at the Apostolic Faith Mission Church, under the pastoral direction of the late Rev. Leon C. Dicks. She served the ministry faithfully and worked in the Youth Department until she left to pursue her college education in Daytona Beach, Florida. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

Vanessa is the proud wife of Leonard Stanley of sixteen years, and together they parent their two beautiful daughters, Keaira age 12 and Kiersten age 5. Her hobbies include: reading, going for long walks, swimming and listening to music. She enjoys spending time with her family and baking her specialty; sweet potato pie.

Prophetess Stanley has worked faithfully alongside several prominent ministries that have cultivated, imparted and developed her into the leader that she is. She was the Executive Assistant to Pastor Donald Battle of Divine Faith Ministries in Jonesboro, GA. A few years later she joined Church of The Harvest International (COTHI) under the pastoral care of Pastors Rob and Melissa Jones where she received her Ordination and License.         

Additionally Prophetess attended the School of the Prophets Bible College where she was ordained in the Office of a Prophet and was awarded the honor of Class Valedictorian under the Deanship and Founder, Dr. Deborah H. Nelson, Apostle. Prophetess has appeared on such shows as “The Prophetic Times” and “Atlanta Live” (on Channel 57 – one of the Christian Television Broadcasts in Atlanta, GA).

With over 15 years of experience working in ministry she has served in the following capacities: hostess, greeter, teacher for the children’s church for all ages, bookstore manager, newsletter editor, cell leader, church administrator, teacher, pastoral aid and discipleship leader.

As an ordained and licensed minister of the Gospel, she ministers in the following areas: holds services in the jail/prison within the Georgia Correctional System, traveled internationally to the Dominican Republic for missions’ work and is a prophetic and apostolic vessel operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Her passion is to complete the vision the Lord has placed inside of her, Mathew 25:35 and 36, “For I was hungry and you gave me meat: I was thirsty and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger and you took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.”

Vanessa, visionary, along side her husband are the overseers of One Step at a Time Ministries, Inc. (OSAAT), A Step Ahead Bible Training Institute, and is employed as a teacher in the Clayton County Public Schools.
